The initiative aims to support residents struggling with the ongoing economic crisis in Turkey.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"720\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1280 \/ 720;\" width=\"1280\" controls src=\"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/BETA-WAN-MUNICIPALITY-RESTAURANT-2.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/cities\/van-wan\/\">Van<\/a> (Wan) Metropolitan Municipality has<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mezopotamyaajansi40.com\/tum-haberler\/content\/view\/253828\"> opened<\/a> <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/coops\/kent-lokantasi\/\">Kent Lokantas\u0131<\/a>, a new low-cost restaurant in Be\u015fyol Park, R\u00eaya Arm\u00fb\u015f\u00ea district, Turkey. The restaurant offers three different dishes every day for 70 Turkish Liras [currently ~\u00a31.50], with the menu changing daily. It will be open from 12:00 to 17:00 every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The opening ceremony was attended by the co-mayors of the Van Metropolitan Municipality, the heads of the district municipalities and a large number of local residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking at the event, Co-Mayor Neslihan \u015eedal highlighted the municipality\u2019s ongoing efforts to address challenges posed by the economic crisis. \u201cWe are committed to implementing projects that will alleviate the difficulties faced by our residents. Despite the obstacles created by the local authorities, we will continue our efforts to address the needs and concerns of our community,\u201d \u015eedal said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Co-Mayor Abdullah Zeydan also addressed the gathering, acknowledging the limitations of the municipality but expressing optimism for the future. \u201cOur resources are limited, but we have a lot of work ahead of us. We plan to launch several new initiatives in the coming months. Together we will overcome these difficult times.
