{"id":13200,"date":"2024-11-18T13:49:08","date_gmt":"2024-11-18T13:49:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/?p=13200"},"modified":"2024-11-18T13:49:08","modified_gmt":"2024-11-18T13:49:08","slug":"sara-organization-aims-to-create-society-without-violence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/sara-organization-aims-to-create-society-without-violence\/","title":{"rendered":"Sara Organization aims to create society without violence"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Sara Organization to Combat Violence against Women organizes awareness-raising activities to create a society without violence.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/tag\/sara-organisation\/\">Sara Organization<\/a> to Combat Violence against Women, a women\u2019s organization based in North and East Syria\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/cities\/qamishlo\/\">Qamishlo<\/a> city, organizes awareness-raising activities and events to end gender-based violence and femicide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe launch campaigns, organize conferences and panels to raise awareness about gender-based violence,\u201d said Rasha Derwish, Spokesperson of the Sara Organization. \u201cDuring our activities, we tell women the principles and goals of our organization so that women can get to know us better.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u2018Our aim is to create a society without violence\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Women face many challenges in society, Rasha Derwish said, adding, \u201cWe make efforts to solve all the problems faced by women. Our aim is to empower <a href=\"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/category\/women\/\">women<\/a> and provide psychological support to them. We promote women\u2019s participation in society and aim to create a society without violence.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u2018More efforts are needed\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Sara Organization also uses social media platforms to raise awareness about gender-based violence. \u201cWe defend women everywhere and make efforts to solve the problems faced by them,\u201d said Rasha Derwish. \u201cWe provide all kinds of support to women survivors of violence.
