They have already distributed 350 sheep and goats to the villagers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kurdish Shepherds started a <a href=\"http:\/\/mezopotamyaajansi.net\/tum-haberler\/content\/view\/246721\">solidarity campaign<\/a> titled \u201cWe have enough for us. Donate a sheep!\u201d to give sheep to the villagers affected by the<a href=\"https:\/\/medyanews.net\/huge-fires-raging-between-mardin-and-diyarbakir-calls-for-immediate-aerial-fire-intervention\/\"> fire between Diyarbak\u0131r (Amed) and Mardin (M\u00eard\u00een)<\/a> in which 15 people lost their lives, and almost 1,000 sheep and goats burned to death. They have already distributed 350 sheep and goats to the villagers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The shepherds from the Kurdish majority cities of <a href=\"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/cities\/amed-diyarbakir\/\">Diyarbak\u0131r<\/a> (Amed), <a href=\"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/cities\/merdin-mardin\/\">Mardin<\/a> (M\u00eard\u00een), <a href=\"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/cities\/riha-urfa-sanliurfa\/\">Urfa<\/a> (Riha), <a href=\"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/cities\/cewlig-bingol\/\">Bing\u00f6l<\/a> (\u00c7ewl\u00eeg) and <a href=\"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/cities\/erzurum-erzirom\/\">Erzurum<\/a> (Erzirom), came together to show solidarity with the villages affected by the fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking on behalf of the campaign, Mehmet \u00c7etin Tar\u0131 said that the \u201ccampaign will continue for a while&#8221;. He added that they \u201ctravelled from village to village, and the villagers supported us. We thank them all. Our call to our people is to support our families and solidarity with our people.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The goal of the campaign is to provide the affected villages with enough livestock so they can continue their village life after being affected by the fire. After the devastating fires, local people had stated that they were <a href=\"https:\/\/medyanews.net\/kurdish-villagers-concerned-about-new-wave-of-migration-after-devastating-fires-in-southeast-turkey\/\">concerned about a new wave of migration<\/a>, because the villagers could no longer afford to live in the villages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bahri Ay, one of the shepherds, said that families also need hay and barley to feed their animals and called for public support. S\u00fcleyman \u015eeyhan, another shepherd, stated that they did not demand money from anyone within the scope of the campaign and said that only the animals and the food needed for the animals should be sent.
