The testing process started, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/category\/water\/\">water<\/a> is expected to reach the city of <a href=\"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/cities\/hasakah\/\">Hesek\u00ea<\/a> in less than 48 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deir ez-Zor Canton Democratic Autonomous Administration Irrigation and Agriculture Board had announced that the repair works were completed on 1 July, and that they had started filling the station, making it operational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The statement added that the second phase of the project to deliver water to the city of Hesek\u00ea was underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the completion of the second stage, the water coming from the water station in the city of Sewr\u00ea to the pipe networks connected to 3 stations started to flow towards the city of Hesek\u00ea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking to Anha News Agency, Deir ez-Zor Canton Democratic Autonomous Administration Executive Council co-chair Mihemed El Dexil said: &#8220;Euphrates water will reach the city of Hesek\u00ea in less than 48 hours. The repair works of the pumps connected to Ez\u00eeziye Station, which will provide water to the city of Hesek\u00ea, have been completed.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The canal station extends to the city of <a href=\"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/cities\/suwar-sewr\/\">Sewr<\/a> and irrigates 220,000 acres of land in the north of <a href=\"https:\/\/mesopotamia.coop\/cities\/deir-ez-zor\/\">Deir ez-Zor<\/a> Canton. At the same time, drinking water will be provided to 270,000 people through 5 stations, including two stations in Her\u00eeze, Her\u00eeciye and Xamiye El Sewr.
